Poster is finished :D

Finally, I have the opportunity to now say that my poster is finished, I completed it by adding the rain in the background and the shapes behind the cloud just to make the poster more interesting, please comment on your thoughts! :D

Reflection

Upon reflection, the group logo was chosen as I believe, as well as other members of the group, decided it was the best idea moving forward. It also helped that a member of our focus group described this as a perfect logo for our group. I believe that the logo conveys the message we are trying to get across, that cyberbullying brings anger and sadness.

The poster on the other hand was chosen because I believe, out of my two ideas, it was the most practical. On reflection, I am now unsure of which poster would be more effective. But I am certain that my final poster will be very effective upon its composure. It will be attention grabbing and deeply moving.

Quick update-Poster

The main additions to this poster are, most immediately the pool of light spewing from the undercarriage of the umbrella. This gives the illusion that are campaign are friendly and happy. The second addition is the website across the bottom of the main image. The placement of the website makes it the last thing to stick in your mind.

Poster Draft - Its here :D

So, this is the first draft of the poster that I will be working on for the next couple of posts. The next stage of making this is to get feedback and improve. So that is what I will be doing next. This poster has all the needed conventions such as corporate logos, my own logo and a tagline.

From my feedback I jave discovered that the poster is lacking a website URL and needs more colour, I plan on implementing more colour underneath the umbrella in the form of sunlight shining down on the stickman from the umbrella. As for the website I'll just put the URL below the tagline.

Nothing to show off today

So as far as today goes, Myself and my group have decided on a slogan, that is: "Don't stand alone in the torrent" This works for myself as it links in with the name of the group linking torrent to storm and it also has connections to the internet as online you can download torrents for music or video.

Also Today I finished off some drawings of draft posters and logos and things. But thats all really, next post I'll show off a draft poster.

Logo final design

Morning all,

This, as you may have guessed is the final design of the logo that we will (cross fingers), put into use on my forthcoming blog posts. The main changes in this version in regards to the previous are the addition of a rain droplet and the application of colour. The lightening and rain could be a metaphor within the logo for the anger and sadness (respectively) caused by cyber bullying as this will aid the effect of the campaign, that is what I shall say regardless. The application of colour also helps the logo stand out more as now it doesn't look as bland.
